How to download Twitch clips

Keep your favourite stream moments as smooth MP4s, at the quality and frame rate they were clipped in.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Copy the clip’s link

Open the clip, click Share, then Copy link. clips.twitch.tv and twitch.tv/…/clip/… links both work.

  2. 2

    Paste it into FetchBolt

Open the Twitch clip downloader and paste the link into the box.

  3. 3

    Download the MP4

Pick the best quality, often 1080p60, and click Download.

Smooth gameplay

Clips download at their original frame rate, so 60 fps gameplay stays smooth, ready for edits, highlights or sharing.

Past broadcasts

Public past broadcasts (VODs) work too, but long ones take a while to prepare. Subscriber-only VODs can’t be downloaded.

The tool for the job

Everything above uses the Twitch Clip Downloader. MP4 in every quality the clip was saved in, often 1080p60.
