How to download TikTok videos
- Step 1
Copy the link
Tap Share on the video (the arrow on the right), then Copy link. Short vm.tiktok.com links work too.
- Step 2
Paste it above
Paste the link in the box at the top of this page and press Download. FetchBolt finds the video and its formats.
- Step 3
Choose and save
Pick a quality and tap Download. The file saves to your device.
What you get
MP4 without the watermark when TikTok provides one, the watermarked version as a fallback, and the sound as MP3.
TikTok adds a moving watermark when you save a video in the app. FetchBolt asks TikTok for the original upload instead, so in most cases you get a clean video in the quality it was posted in.
Photo slideshows are not videos and are not supported yet. Videos from public accounts work; private accounts do not.
- Reposting a TikTok
- If you share a video you saved, credit the creator by name and link to their profile. Many creators are happy to be shared as long as their work is credited.
Save it on any device
iPhone and iPad
Open FetchBolt in Safari, paste the TikTok link and tap Download. The MP4 saves to Files → Downloads; tap it, then Share → Save Video to put it in Photos.
Android
Paste the link in Chrome or any browser and tap Download. The MP4 lands in Downloads and shows up in your gallery automatically.
Windows, Mac and Linux
Copy the link from the address bar or Share button and paste it above. The MP4 saves to your Downloads folder in any browser, with nothing to install.
Troubleshooting and safety
The download doesn’t work. What can I do?
Check that the video plays for everyone: private posts, age-restricted content and anything that needs you to sign in can’t be downloaded, and FetchBolt tells you if a video was removed or is region-locked. Copy the link with the app’s Share button and paste it on its own. If TikTok is limiting traffic for a moment, wait a minute and try again. Large files take longer to prepare, and the button shows the progress while they do.
Is FetchBolt safe to use?
FetchBolt runs in your browser: no app, no extension and no sign-up, and it never asks for your TikTok password. Files are prepared on our servers only for as long as it takes to send them to you, then deleted, and we don’t keep a history of your links. The only buttons that download anything are the ones in the FetchBolt card, next to each quality.
Step-by-step guides
TikTok Video Downloader: frequently asked questions
Are downloads really without a watermark?
For most videos, yes. When TikTok only offers the watermarked file, we tell you and offer that version instead.
Can I download the sound of a TikTok?
Yes. Open the Audio tab after pasting the link to save it as MP3.
Does the creator know I downloaded their video?
No. FetchBolt does not sign in to TikTok, so nothing is linked to your account.
Can I repost downloaded TikToks?
Only with the creator’s permission. Saving a video for yourself is different from republishing someone else’s work.
How do I copy a TikTok link?
Tap Share (the arrow) on the video, then Copy link. Short vm.tiktok.com links work too.
Do I need a TikTok account?
No. Videos from public accounts download without signing in to TikTok.

Do I need to install anything?
No. FetchBolt runs in your browser on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.
Do you keep the videos I download?
No. Files are prepared on our servers only for as long as it takes to send them to you, then deleted. We don’t keep a history of your links.
