How to download videos from Threads

Save the videos from any public Threads post to your phone or computer, one MP4 per video.

Step by step

    Tap the share icon under the post, then Copy link. threads.net and threads.com links both work.

Threads runs on Instagram’s systems, so videos usually come in 720p to 1080p, with sound.

Where the file goes

On iPhone, Safari saves it to Downloads in Files; use Share, then Save Video to add it to Photos. On Android it lands in Downloads and your gallery, and on a computer in your Downloads folder.
