How to download Facebook audio
- Step 1
Copy the link
Tap Share on the video, then Copy link. fb.watch links work too.
- Step 2
Paste it above
Paste the link in the box at the top of this page and press Download. FetchBolt finds the audio and its formats.
- Step 3
Choose and save
Pick MP3 or M4A and a bitrate and tap Download. The file saves to your device.
What you get
MP3 at 320 or 128 kbps, or the original M4A audio.
FetchBolt takes the audio from the video and converts it to MP3. Long videos such as recorded lives and church services convert the same way.
Videos in private groups or shared with friends only can’t be reached without signing in.
Save it on any device
iPhone and iPad
Open FetchBolt in Safari, paste the Facebook link and tap Download. The MP3 saves to Files → Downloads, ready to play or share to any audio app.
Android
Paste the link in Chrome or any browser and tap Download. The MP3 lands in Downloads, where music players and file managers find it.
Windows, Mac and Linux
Copy the link from the address bar or Share button and paste it above. The MP3 saves to your Downloads folder in any browser, with nothing to install.
Troubleshooting and safety
The download doesn’t work. What can I do?
Check that the audio plays for everyone: private posts, age-restricted content and anything that needs you to sign in can’t be downloaded, and FetchBolt tells you if a track was removed or is region-locked. Copy the link with the app’s Share button and paste it on its own. If Facebook is limiting traffic for a moment, wait a minute and try again. Large files take longer to prepare, and the button shows the progress while they do.
Is FetchBolt safe to use?
FetchBolt runs in your browser: no app, no extension and no sign-up, and it never asks for your Facebook password. Files are prepared on our servers only for as long as it takes to send them to you, then deleted, and we don’t keep a history of your links. The only buttons that download anything are the ones in the FetchBolt card, next to each quality.
